Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the provider that produces that search result. Livonia Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the details included in the message and use them to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Routine hosting logs can record an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of access. We use aggregate information to operate, secure, and improve the service. Cookies or similar technology can support basic analytics or advertising measurement where used.
How We Use Information
Limited technical information is used to run the site, diagnose errors, understand traffic, and improve the reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Links lead to city, county, state, library, archive, and third-party services. Their privacy terms govern data submitted after leaving this site. That includes sponsored search results, which are supplied by a third party.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers may process ordinary logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic data described above. Information is disclosed when required by valid legal process and otherwise only as needed to operate the service.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection. Logs are kept only for the operational purposes described here. There are no visitor accounts, passwords, or personal profiles maintained by this site.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor sent information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
You may ask about personal data that this service holds by using the Contact page. Because records are not stored here, a request ordinarily concerns only a contact message or technical log. Michigan FOIA, MCL 15.231 et seq., governs requests to government custodians, not a request to this private reference. Public records held by Livonia, Wayne County, or Michigan agencies must be addressed to the responsible custodian. The research for this site did not identify a broad Michigan consumer-privacy statute that changes this limited-data practice.
Policy Updates
Any revision will appear on this page. Continued use after publication of an updated policy indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
